Accounts Receivable Associate in Calgary, Alberta

Job Purpose This role supports sales and operational goals by assisting the credit department to ensure accurate and timely processing of all accounts receivable. Responsibilities: Working closely with the credit department regarding customers accounts. Inputting payments received via cheques, internet, EFT, telephone banking to customers accounts. Processing Electronic Fund Transfer payments daily for over 500 customers. Creating statements weekly for EFT customers and right fax, manually fax or mail to customers. Reconciling select General Ledger Accounts Assisting in Bank Reconciliations. Creating daily bank transfer schedule of batches processed and balance to daily deposit made to the bank. Researching short payments. Other duties as assigned by management. Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma is required 1+ year experience working in an accounts receivable role is an asset. With knowledge of: AR, AP and GL functions. Intermediate working knowledge of MS Office programs.
