Position Title: Account Manager, Western Canada ? $100K Industry: Consumer City/Province: Calgary The Company: Our client, one of the most respected companies in their industry, has been manufacturing quality products for over 100 years. Today they are widely regarded as a leader and innovator in their industry. Their products are considered the ?products of choice? by many customers in Western Canada.The Attraction: This is a newly created role, and an opportunity to work with a true industry leader and to further enhance their outstanding reputation in the west. The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting and exceeding target volumes within the assigned territory. Specific duties include? Closely monitor all year over year units and sales dollars to develop appropriate plan of actionLeverage marketing programs to maintain or grow market shareContinually identify ?Target? accounts and rank them in by degree of difficulty, and develop plan of action to gain these accountsResponsible for updating/maintaining target account tracking/accountability systemBe able to demonstrate compelling sales presentation that clearly shows our client as the Business Partner of choice, and not just a vendorDevelop and maintain good customer relationsPerform all training, including sales and products The Rewards: Base salary in the $75K range, annual bonus up to 35%, vehicle, benefits, home office.The Right Candidate Should Have: The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong tactical sales background. You should possess a proven ability and understanding of executing sales techniques and processes, resulting in achieving or surpassing your targets/goals. This individual must have a background in creating B2B relationship and solution-based programs. You must also have extensive experience in territory management that leads to maximum account contact coverage. This person must also have proven experience with budgeting, monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecasting with tight proven results, strategic planning, and customer retention. As the lone representative in Western Canada, this individual will be an integral part of the field sales team, playing a key role in the selling process and will be able to identify opportunities to increase market presence to meet aggressive sales goals. In addition?
