Reserves Evaluation Engineer in Calgary, Alberta

Our client is currently seeking for an energetic self-motivated engineer with 10+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas or consulting industry with a background in Reserve Evaluations. The successful candidate would work with and oversee a team of engineers, geologists and geophysicists managing the completion of reserve evaluation projects as well as the scope of projects and anaylsis Key Skills:* Leadership and management skills* Experience working within a multi-discipline environment on projects that involve geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering and economics* Reservoir/ Exploitation experience an asset* Combination of technical excellence and strong interpersonal skills* Mentoring and coaching skills an asset* Are active members of APEGGA and other relevant associations* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Utilise your networking and marketing skills to attract new clients* Strong computer and program literacy on industry software such as ValNav and/or MOSAIC* Experience with NI 51-101 reserves definitions and the Canadian Oil and Gas Evaluation Handbook (COGEH)* Good working knowledge of Canadian fiscal regimes* Field development planning and capital estimates* Deterministic and probabilistic evaluations* Self motivated individual* Mentoring and coaching your team on an ongoing basis* Updating Knowledge of industry resource plays Core Responsibilities:* Work with clients overseeing and conducting independent property evaluations and/or optimisation and development planning* Assess reserves and/or resources and develop production forecasts based on field development planning as it relates to the project and company planning* Work with and manage a team of individuals including geologists and geophysicists to complete projects* Estimate operating costs based on historical revenue statements and estimates capital spending* Schedule land interests based on company land summaries and provincial fiscal regimes along with applicable incentive programs* Prepare evaluation on study reports Interested Individuals should forward their resume to: (click to respond)Listing originally posted at http://www.hgcareers.com/en/js/viewjob.php?jobID=xxxx4
